PowerSchool is our data management system where student information is collected and stored.  The PowerSchool Parent Portal gives parents and students access to information such as attendance, grades, detailed assignment descriptions and lunch balances. Everyone stays connected. Students can stay on top of assignments, parents can participate in their children’s progress, and teachers can share information with parents and students.

Teachers assign and post grades to PowerSchool at different times. Some may post grades every day and some may provide far fewer grades during the grading periods. This is up to each teacher and depends upon their grading system. If you see grades in PowerSchool for some teachers but not others, this is a normal function of the way teachers assign and post grades. As always, you may contact teachers by e-mail or request a phone call or meeting at any time if you have questions or concerns.

To create an account, please use the following instructions:
  1. Click the PowerSchool Student and Parent Login button above
  2. Click the Create Account tab, then select Create Account button
  3. Enter all Information needed for the Parent/Guardian Account portion.  NOTE:  The Desired Username and Password fields will be your credentials to log in to the portal every time you access it.
  4. The Link Students to Account establishes your student’s information. Student Access ID and Access Passwords will be sent home at the beginning of the year or can be obtained from office staff.
  5. Complete these fields for all students you have attending HCCS.  Once you are done, click the Enter button.
  6. On the Sign In screen, enter the newly created User Name and Password.  Click Submit.
