Heritage Community Charter School is a tuition free public school. In order to accommodate the high number of parents who want their children to attend at HCCS in a fair way and in compliance with Idaho state law, a lottery is held each spring to decide which students can attend the following fall.
The lottery for the 2013-2014 school year will be held on Saturday April 6, 2013 at 9:00 AM in the HCCS Library located at 1803 East Ustick in Caldwell. Attendance at the lottery is optional as families will be notified through the e-mail address they applied with, or through regular postal mail or by phone if no e-mail address was provided. Students who have applied for registration after the deadline of March 29, 2013 at 11:59PM will be added to the waiting list or offered an available spot if one exists after the lottery.
HCCS Open Houses are held biannually and include presentations by the Executive Director and other staff members. Following their presentations, there is time for questions and answers and personally tailored tours of the school by student council members. Enrollment packets will be available.
The next HCCS Open House will be on Tuesday, March 12 from 6-7 pm
